Another significant difference between the 2023 and 2022 Honda HR-V is in the performance power. The 2023 model sports a brand-new 2.0L engine, replacing the 1.8L 4-cylinder from the previous year. Both models feature a continuously variable transmission and can be configured with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive if you need extra traction on your Bridgewater, CT, drives. In addition to bold exterior redesigns, the Honda HR-V interior cabin has been refreshed for the 2023 model year! The new cabin follows the interior styling of the newly redesigned Honda Civic, featuring improved driver visibility, an ergonomically-designed steering wheel that’s easy on your hands, a new LCD instrument cluster, and a 7-inch infotainment display.
But don’t worry—it retains plenty of great features from the 2022 model, such as smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), the Honda Sensing driver assistance suite, and a 60/40-split folding second row of seats. The interior dimensions are also largely the same, with seating for five passengers and plenty of cargo space behind both rows so that you’re ready for anything that comes up during your Poughkeepsie, NY, travels.
