Mr. Beanland, I would like to commend you on your outstanding service staff. I am a four time Honda owner, having purchased three new Honda’s from your dealership. (One Honda is used). Recently my Pilot suffered an unforeseen mechanical failure, 300 miles after a routine service. John Beirne, with whom I usually schedule my vehicle services, was extremely helpful and accommodating in informing me of the basis of my mechanical issue and the remedies required. When the service department found that the damage to my car was more extensive than initially thought, your Service manager, Jay Whitlock went above and beyond in his attempt to assist me in this extremely expensive fix. It is employees like John and Jay that bring me back to Honda of Danbury. It is the fact that Honda backs their product (even after six years and 85k miles) and takes some responsibility for the failure, that I am going to remain a ‘Honda’ family. All too often people call or write to complain about a service experience.
